My mother's love is everlasting
It was never all for nothing
As i was growing up
My life was never dark
Because definitely,she was there
love surrounding me,everywhere

In times of sadness
she put a smile on my face
In times when anger got the better of me
she comforted me

Just like a thorny rose
Elegant and beautiful
Trapped in her sea of love
yet so harsh and strict
when i let her down, once again

And with her,
i am free like a bird

-DESCRIPTION-

The bird in the picture represent my freedom

the rose represents her beauty and the thorns represents her harshness

the sea in the background describes her vast amount of love

the heart shows that her love is everlasting.....

DENISE EE

POEM

9 months in your womb
has make me close to you
you gave me milk to drink and
gave me food to eat

you are so noble
protects me from any dangers
your undivided care and concern
has touched me since i was born

you gave me the strength to live on,and
gave me the support to lean ,and
you stood with me when i was feeling down
listen to me when i am pouring my woes to you!

I love you mum
you teach me right from wrong, right from wrong
how to differentiate bad from wrong , bad from wrong.

Description of the picture:
The picture depicts that my mother still cares for me even though i am a teenager . Her care and concern for me is unlimited. In addition, this picture also shows that she ensures that i am well taken care of and protects me from any dangers that i faced.

Huiyi's

Poem

I would like to tell you
Something I hardly ever do
That I love you
And want to say Thank You

When I was a small child
You held me tightly and smiled
When I throw tantrums and cry
You would giggle and dry my eyes
Since young till now, you have been my guide
Enriching my life in many ways, teaching me how to decide.

You are the Sun in my day
You are the Moon I see far away
You are the one that make troubles be gone
And lend me a shoulder to lean upon
You are the one who cares for me
You are the eyes that help me see
You are the one who knows me best
You are the one who let me
have fun and have a good rest
You are the one who help me dare to dream
And always hear me whenever I scream
You were there when I had a frown
But you turn it upside down
You gave me everything I got and to me it really means a lot
So now,
Thank You for standing by me though thick and thin
Thank You for your perserverance although I didn't win
Thank You for your patience when I kept pushing you away
Thank You for being caring when I didn't need you anyway

There's nothing in this world that I could do to pay you back for all you do
When God gave me to you,
That's the best thing He could ever do.

My mother!

My mother is the best,
you ever see!
She is like the chef,
who cooks food for me!

My mother is the best,
you ever see!
She is like the nurse in the hospital
who take cares of me!

My mother is the best,
you ever see!
She is like the morning sun
that brightens up the day for me!

My mother is the best,
you ever see!
She is like the angel
given by heaven to me!

Description of picture: This picture describes the four ways in which my mother had cared and loved me. The ways of treating may look simple but it actually means a lot to me!

Symbolism In Art, Examples Of Impressionist Paintings

Symbolism originated in France, and was part of a 19th-century movement in which art became infused with mysticism. French Symbolism was both a continuation of the Romantic tradition and a reaction to the realistic approach of impressionism. It served as a catalyst in the outgrowth of the darker sides of Romanticism and toward abstraction. The term Symbolism means the systematic use of symbols or pictorial conventions to express an allegorical meaning. Symbolism is an important element of most religious arts and reading symbols plays a main role in psychoanalysis. Thus, the Symbolist painters used these symbols from mythology and dream imagery for a visual language of the soul. Not so much a style of art, Symbolism was more an international ideological trend. Symbolists believed that art should apprehend more absolute truths which could only be accessed indirectly. Thus, they painted scenes from nature, human activities, and all other real world phenomena in a highly metaphorical and suggestive manner. They provided particular images or objects with esoteric attractions. There were several, rather dissimilar, groups of Symbolist painters and visual artists. Symbolism in painting had a large geographical reach, reaching several Russian artists, as well as American. The closest to Symbolism was Aestheticism. The Pre-Raphaelites, also, were contemporaries of the earlier Symbolists, and have much in common with them. Symbolism had a significant influence on Expressionalism and Surrealism, two movements which descend directly from Symbolism proper. The work of some Symbolist visual artists directly impacted the curvilinear forms of the contemporary Art Nouveau movements in Europe and Les Nabis.
